X-ray fluorescence (XRF) is a technology for elements analysis or chemical analysis with non-destructive method. When a sample was excited by being bombarded with high-energy X-rays or gamma rays, the elements which make up the material will emit the fluorescent or secondary X-ray. Each of the elements present a set of uniquely characteristic fluorescent X-rays. That is why XRF spectroscopy can be used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of material composition.

XRF spectrometer is an X-ray instrument which used for non-destructive chemical or elements analysis of metal, mineral, rocks, industrial products etc. CFAN XRF spectrometers are widely used in precious metal analysis, Rohs testing, alloy analysis etc.

In precious metal analysis field, XRF spectrometer is also called as gold tester or precious metal analyzer.

It can be used in:

Jewelry industry

How to use CFAN XRF spectrometer to test precious metal jewelry such as gold, silver and platinum?

Precious metal recycling

How to recover platinum, palladium and rhodium effectively from automotive catalytic converters with XRF analyzer?

Professional laboratory
